I have always been a hugo boss man but today decided to buy a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier. The lady at the shop stated it was most popular amongst men very strong indeed compared to Hugo Boss edt's.
What is your favourite Aftershave or perfume
I have always believed a way into a womans heart was buying a bottle of mademoiselle chanel but maybe things have changed now with all these pop stars bringing out their fragrances.

I'm a Clinique Happy girl.

Mr Chopsie wears an Armani one (not sure which) which drives me wild - if he puts it on when we go out, I usually try and get him to stay in instead :hihi:

I don't even know if they still sell it, but I can smell Tender Poison from a mile away, and it's nice.

I was told it's an old woman's fragrance:confused:. I don't know, I don't care. It's beaut!

Personally I only wear Cool Water, and never had any complaints, and can't smell it on myself which is a bonus.

:gag: It's only nice if you spray it ten foot away then walk in the opposite direction! It's overpowering dreadfully!

MM I had an addiction to perfume so i went cold turkey and haven't bought any for about a year. I have tons of the stuff slowly going off in its bottles.
The one i wear the most during the day is Kenzo Flowers, at night i wear Thierry Mugler's Angel a lot but it can be too sweet during the summer - more a winter perfume. Somedays i don't feel like that at all and I wear Tomato or DKNY or something citrusey. Last night I wore pomegranate and yesterday daytime I wore chocolate.

I adore Wrappings but it's difficult to get hold of now in this country. :(

I'm truly an addict to Demeter perfumes which i have to send to the states for as I can't find a stockist in Britain anymore. My favourites are said tomato, Earl Grey, Pink Grapefruit and Licorice - which is said to increase:heyhey: strength!

But I've got weird and wonderful ones such as playdoh (really!), dirt and leather! :D

The one i've only worn once was gingerbread. I got in my mate's hubby's car and he said, "have you had a strong curry?" Needless to say that's never been worn since despite me quite liking it. :suspect:

I love angel by thierry mugler and first started wearing it about 10 years ago.
Now its got so common i only wear it to remind myself of holidays iv had or evenings iv enjoyed.
I wear 3 other perfumes normally but i like to keep them a secret so they dont go the same way angel did

My favourites are Clinique's "Happy" and Anna Sui "Dreams"

Both are just so fresh and gorgeous

I absolutely cannot stand "Angel" - it's such a shame because I love the colour and design of the bottle, but unfortunately it's a really, REALLY horrible smell. :gag:

Oh, Playdoh... I can't wait til our little one is old enough to play with it because I'll be able to mainline sniff it like a junkie :D

Best ones are Angel for women and Chanel L'egoiste for men. Both of these actually make me feel happy when I smell them. Other close faves include Jean Paul Gaultier (both of them), Havana (if you can still get it), Old Spice, Chanel Coco, and Chypre which was a perfume oil you used to get in Body Shop.

If you're talking about what to go in the bath, anything involving a combo of jasmine, ylang ylang, rose and honey is lush.

I'm one of those kinaesthetic people obsessed with smell - I'll sniff absolutely everything. ;) Sometimes to my deep regret...:o

There are some fragrances that make you feel physically sick though. I always felt the same about Opium and even more so that it made me retch -kouros:gag: I used to have a boss who was a lovely bloke but he loved himself more than anyone and could be found down the aisles of Children's world applying more of the said aftershave. I liked his company but would have to sit miles away from him at the pub as he stank! I dreaded getting a lift off him and staff meetings... :gag:

If ever you come on a meet i'll have to cover myself in it! (or at least a tissue so we don't look strange!)
Think we've discussed Chypre before, it's in many expensive perfumes but the BS one was a one note one. I miss samarkand for the same reasons which was a man's fragrance. But not Dewberry! :gag: another one i never got!
Yes I'm very into sniffing as well. I have been known to follow someone down a street whilst i work out what they are wearing! :suspect::D

I also love Happy, but haven't worn it for a while.

There's one Guerlain perfume which makes me wrtech, I can't remember the name of it. I used to smell it on the tube when I was pregnant and suffering from morning sickness, so the smell of it is forever associated with that.:gag:

I think my sniffing thing started with those banda sheeets you got at school before photocopiers. God, they smelled sooooo good!

Dewberry was weird, a real 6th formers' scent! It'd be nice in a bath but it was way too strong and sickly to wear! Same with patchouli which is gorgeous in bath things but honks as a perfume oil.

I like some weird smells though like fresh petrol and the insides of new VHS tape boxes! But I hate the smell of sugar! :gag:

Going a bit off topic but do any of you people find if you are out and about and in passing smell an aftershave or perfume and it reminds you of some one you may have known
I do but then again have been told i have a weird way of thinking
