Lots of cars were broken into last night in this area. 3 teenagers in hoodies were spotted running away around 1am caught in the act. They targeted cars with no obvious alarms, cars of any age, smashing rear side windows and accessing the vehicle, some steering locks were damaged as they tried to free them. No idea on total numbers of cars damged here but most of my neighbours had their car windows smashed with evidence of tampering with the steering locks and ignition........BEWARE.

3 teenagers in dark hoodies aged between about 14 and 17, no other descriptions forthcoming......made off down long Lane and vanished when challenged....

Too long have thieving little scum like this because the police catch them and say "oh, but they didn't admit it so we let them go". Makes me sick, esp. because my insurance premium DOUBLED this year because some little **** decided he fancied a jolly in my car.

One of the kids has been electronically tagged.....doesnt stop him from leaving his house thoygh and causing local chaos, apparently they have a 100 metre range or so before they triger the Police STation.
