Ok,
This is NOT a joke. Here's the link:

Apparently, this little girl threw a tantrum to end all tantrums. I saw a clip on the evening news, and she was totally out of control.
I'm curious as to why they didn't call the mother to come get her? Although, I have to say, when I was a kid, I would rather have faced a firing squad at school, than have them call one of my parents, and make them leave work to come get me.
And once at home, I would most certainly have found myself on the wrong end of a wooden spoon!
The school is really in a lose/lose position. If they do nothing while she goes on a rampage, of course they're to blame if she injures herself or another child. If they try to stop her, they're accused of using too much force.
On the other hand, she is only 5 years old.
Do you think the school did the right thing in calling the police when they couldn't calm the child?
I feel they should have called her mother, and taken it from there.
