HI,

I have a bearded dragon and am going on holiday in August, the people who were going to look after her have let me down and i now need to find somewhere else for her to go. Does anyone know of somewhere who boards reptiles?

Thanks
Claire

Just for the record we don't board them but I believe there is somewhere in Attercliff I just can't think of the name.

We've looked after beardies for people before - usually do home visits for them (we are CRB checked) so could offer you that option, or you're welcome to bring your tank etc here (depending on it's size)

Well thank you very much for being a total time waster. Having called us in an emergency yesterday because your arrangements for Isis's care had fallen through, we said we could take her at short notice and arranged for you to drop her off between 6-7pm tonight. We had a dog walking job to do at 7.30pm and made you aware of this. By 7.45pm you had not arrived - we had already called our 7.30pm appointment and apologised for being late and that we would get there asap. I called the mobile number you gave me only to be hung up on by a gentleman who answered the door to someone and carried on a conversation with them. I called back to be told you should have told me 7-8pm. Well at 7.45pm you still weren't going to get here by 8pm were you!!! He asked if it was o.k to still come over and when I said we had to go out to walk a dog and would not be back until 9pm I did not expect to be told forget it we'll make other arrangments. Excuse me but why is it o.k for yourselves to not let us know you'd be late and not turn up as arranged, but when we say we have another customer to look after and will be home at 9, that is not o.k by you!!!!!! Why should we put everyone else on hold when you cant keep to arrangements aleady made.

I am sorry but we run a business, we have a schedule and appointments to be kept, we cannot stay in 24/7 as some customers would like us to just to wait in on a whim that you may or not have the deceny to turn up. We will always do our best to accomodate people at the times they need to collect and drop off, even some do so early hours of a morning on the way back from an airport, but to just not turn up or let us know when we had spent the afternoon making room for her and getting things ready is not on.

From what I heard of the conversation I strongly beleive the person at the door was your arrangements for Isis's care. At least have the deceny and courtesy to call and cancel. I'm sure you'd be the first to complain if the shoe was on the other foot and you were on the receiving end.

You are now on our banned list and we are not willing to offer our services to you in the future. We can seriously do without and dont need rude timewasters.
