Kristian 22-04-2005, 21:59 Don't know whether it's possible or not, but the fact that it warns you that defrauding Sky is illegal, makes me want to stay away! Craigy 22-04-2005, 22:19 I know some1 who used to sell ebooks, made a bit of money out of it and the cheeky sod used to just get them off p2p networks. so he made money from nothing Shiesh 22-04-2005, 23:27 Don't bother - guy at work did it....took Sky about 5 minutes to pull it!! Anything on Ebay that is too good to be true...is TOO good to be true!! :D kirky 23-04-2005, 05:35 a couple of years ago on one of the football sites i use it got passed around on there.....apparently sky knew you were viewing and easily stoppes it..not sure of all the ins and outs as i didn't bother with it. adlinds 23-04-2005, 08:05 This doesn't work. You will be told to unplug your Sky box from the phone socket. Sky give you £50 credit for box office events in the event of the phone lines going down, so you can still order their services. Whatever you order will be stored on your box and as soon as you plug it into the phone socket again you will be charged. I suppose you could use up your £50 of credit and then change your box but I dont think its worth it. steevie/d 23-04-2005, 08:39 1 of my mates did this with the old pp3 battery trick and phone sockett as soon as he plugged sky back in to telephone line he was charged for all the stuff he had ordered so my advice is to stear well clear of this guy from e:donkey  underground1 23-04-2005, 09:43 yes you can do it there are 3 ways. and you cant be traced because you do it with your phone line been UN-plugged. Then you can never use PPV again without paying for everything you have already used. ps I have never done this myself just read about it on a another forum :) underground1 24-04-2005, 14:00 Originally posted by march It does work but only for at most £50 worth of PPV. Sky have no control if u have your boz plugged into your phonline. How do they know?....that is the only way sky can be able to trace your moves with the phon line. SilentStatic 26-04-2005, 15:06 Had free PPVs for a day once, all random like. Watched three films in a row, but unfortunately it was back to normal the next day... underground1 26-04-2005, 16:48 Originally posted by SilentStatic Had free PPVs for a day once, all random like. Thats happeneed to me b4 , i think it must mess up sometimes. fukdat 05-06-2006, 19:57 Hey Underground1, You said to PM you about how else to get free PPV service but I can't could you email mentally_affected@hotmail.co.uk? Cheers, greatly appreciated! floyd77 05-06-2006, 21:47 There is no way to get unlimited free PPV - as mentioned you can get approx £50 worth before you will be contacted by Sky and asked to cough up. If you keep it under £50, you cant order any more PPV. Doesnt matter how many ways there are, they all end with either Sky catching up with you, or you not ordering any more films etc, unless you venture into the realms of chipping boxes or fitting scramblers. P.S. Sky do not require that you have a phone line installed, only for the first 12 months of your contract is this true. |
