Why does it have to be free?

NO SUCH THING AS A FREE ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!!

all animals need proper care/food and looking after.
regular injections,vets bills tins of food etc,etc,etc,

In immediate financial terms getting a kitten from a charity which charges the usual £65 for adoption makes more sense than having a 'free' kitten that someone gives you, because within the first few weeks of having a 'free' kitten you'll need to pay for vaccinations, flea and worm treatments (which are all covered by the adoption fee from the charity) and a few weeks after that you have to pay for neuter/spay and microchipping (also covered by the adoption fee from the charity).

As bunnykins has already posted- anyone who believes that an animal is 'free' because they have been given it without charge is mistaken.

sadly some people dont plan on having there 'pets' vacinated, wormed, spayed ect ect ......... which is why theres so many in shelters

probably not a good idea to ask for free kitten/s i think !
