Has anyone seen all three of those and if so who do you think came out best? I've only seen the Tony Blair and Michael Howard and much as it pains me to admit Howard was by far the superior performer (not that I'm a big fan of Blair - just even less so of Howard's!)

I only saw the Charles Kennedy and Michael Howard ones. Kennedy seemed ruffled and gave the impression he didn't want to be there. (He's a new daddy afterall, that's understandable.)

Michael Howard came across very well I thought.

The real winner was Paxman himself. I had to laugh at some of his questioning. I'd love to see him interview the likes of Nick Griffin....,

I've only seen the Michael Howard one and I think Paxman came out the winner.I'd have liked to see the other two interviews.

I've seen Blair and Howard's too and Howard came out the best by far. For the first half of the interview especially, Howard answered every question very well, although towards the end on the immigration subject I think Paxman was making him squirm a bit, but nothing compared to Blair when he was asked the amount of illegal immigrants in the UK, and again and again and again, and never answered!

Howard came over very well indeed. He was clear, focused, positive, calm and stuck to his guns. To me he looked evry bit a Prime Minister.

I liked the paxman interviews, but to be honest I find paxman a little tiresome. He has a tendency to try and over-simplify things and not allow people complex answers to what are often very complex issues. With the "Did you threaten to overrule him" saga, he later admitted that he'd run out of questions!

Having said that I would also like to see him interview some of the leaders of the smaller parties like Galloway, the UKIP guy, Griffin and Kilroy. I think it would be interesting.

Yes, me too kathythebean. It serves two purposes: it gives the leaders of these parties the opportunity to put their ideas across and it would give us the chance to see the likes of Griffin squirm (or get one of his heavies to 'sort Paxman out').

Sounds like compulsive viewing, n'est pas?

Yeah that would be brilliant!

A BNP heavy Phil Mitchell style "Na look ere, paxman".. and a later interview "Did you threaten to break my legs? Yes or no? I'll ask you again, did you threaten to break my legs?"

For those of you that want to watch the ones they missed they are all available to watch online. The Paxman page hasn't been updated to include the Michael Howard interview so I've used a link to the BBC Video search page.
