My girlfriend's chipped one of her front teeth this evening, and she's whinging like crazy about it.... So if anybody knows of a dentist pretty much anywhere in the Sheffield area that'll be open tomorrow morning, so she can get it fixed and I don't have to endure the pain all weekend it'd be appreciated.

It needs to be NHS, but location isn't really a restriction, she drives, so as long as I can find it on multi-map it's not a problem!

Thanks guys

Ring NHS Direct - I believe they usually have a list of emergency dentists.

You can call em but this won't be fixed for weeks!!

When I did the same to my front tooth I had a series of appointments for 'impressions' to be taken.....x-rays etc!!

I had an awful yellow temporary thingy for about 2/3 weeks!!

Just thought I'd share the bigger picture!!

Hi Hook,

Just ring your normal dentist; they should provide you with a telephone number of the dentist that is covering their surgery out-of-hours!

Good Luck!

Seriously though, there's an NHS dentist on Laughton Road, Dinnington. They have Saturday morning hours.

If you can't find anywhere that's open, just head off to the pub. A few glasses of wine, beer, spirits, tends to help alleviate the pain, drink until you fall into a stupor, just repeat today and Sunday, then come Monday your dentist will be open

I don't think you would be welcomed on a Saturday for going with a chipped tooth as it's hardly an emergency is it? I know it is to your girlfriend but emergency dental treatment covers situations of extremem pain or bleeding.

Dentists are becoming an absolute rarity. They are only interested in big money. NHS patients can 'go to hell' as far as they are concerned A plague on their houses.
