Well done Geoff. Apparrently certain emergency helplines were flooded by calls this afternoon by distraught Sheffielders; can't imagine why? :D

muddycoffee,

Have to say that as a Mod. I was looking forward to a weekend in which I could sort out my blogging pages, update a few web sites, tidy up the study, groom the cats, groom myself, etc.

As it is, it's business as usual! :)

Next time I move a forum for someone I'm just calling Geoff to come and do it for me!

I've tried to send a couple of pm's this morning but get an error each time (Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail() in /home/sforum/www/admin/functions.php on line 103) is this to do with the move? Or have I broken something?

Hazel just posted a thread saying that she is having the same problem, so most likely it probably is just a result of switching over the servers. Can you see the text at the top of the screen which states you are on the new server? This still displays a message saying that email features (including PMs) are not working yet. If it carries on I'd email Geoff :)

I'm impressed.

I still have the message at the top of the screen
'You are now on the new server - well done! Virtually no downtime for some users :-)
E-mail features, such as PM/topic notifications currently not working.
I cannot update my email in 'my profiles' nor can I contact help@sheffieldforum.co.uk
Hopefully it will be sorted out as TracieJC suggests :)

Thanks for the thanks.

E-mail notifications, PMs and registration activation codes should now be working fine.

Let me know (via the contact us (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/misc/contact.php) page) if you spot anything else not working as it should.
