Hi i'm Milo, i am 16 months old and i have a big problem with my mum. Recently i found that there are these creatures called frogs that live in our garden. they are soooooo much fun, you can poke them and they jump! And then they try to get away and squeak! Me and my adopted sister luna really like them. Last week i bourght one in for my mum to play with. She was in bed at the time, but she wasn't happy with my present and put it back outside. I got it again later though! Then my dad saw us playing with it and took it away to be "rehomed". But after looking in the flowerbeds all week i found another one. i took it inside to play with it and my mum started shouting again! She took that one away to be rehomed too.
What can i do? they are the best fun ever and it will take me ages to find another one. How do you stop human mums rehoming your friends/toys? :suspect:

LOL, bless they only want to play mum. Made me smile your post.

Well Milo and Luna your mummy dosn't want you both to hurt the poor little frogs, and your mum dosn't want them in her house because they are not allowed. So if you both behave and leave them frogs alone you will not get shouted at. :)

feugo and Feathers here , you should get your mummy to buty a frog an have it in her living room in a large tank, we like watching our frog hes called pudlip but we have given p on him ever playing wityh us we can't get him out of the tank which is most unfair. they have a new big spider and he is in simular tank you know its just not fair.
Milo and Luna the best things to find are slugs and worms they make mummy squeal which is fun.
Good luck and don't forget to share any tips you may have.

hello Milo, my name is Loki  ... I'm not allowed outside on my own yet 'cos I'm still little. Your frog thing sounds really exciting, I like jumping on things ... yesterday I jumped on my mummy's dinner and stuck my tongue in it to make sure it tasted good :)

Hello Milo, my name is Flick. I am only little and dont like it in the big garden. I have been trying to catch these wonderful looking things that keep flying over my head. Mummy keeps saying that they are called birds. I imagine that they will taste better than the kittie food I have. They wonder why i stay outside all day but if they only knew. Well done for catching the froggies, i wish i could do the same. I have never even seen one but when i do i am sure that i will feel the same as you do.
Try to hold back from taking them into your mummy as she may be scared of them.
Try and find something else to play with. I think that ants are great but they tickle my feet when i catch them. We just cant win can we?!

Hello Milo, My name is Oliver and I'm one now :D

The other cats have told me about the frog things and how nicely they squeak but I have never found one myself yet.

Our Mummy rehomes things we play with too, its very unfair isn't it? the other week I was playing with a lovely baby birdie on Mummies kitchen worktop, when she came in like a bat out of hell astounding me so much that I dropped my birdie, and then bad Mummy stole him away from me and took him to the vet....I wonder if she had the birdie neutered too :(

Sometimes I play with the moth things, me and my sisters eat them they tickle our tummies yum!

We likes to play with little mice and baby rats as well, they are great toys, we have learned to run away with them so that Mummy can't rehome them...let her find her own toys to rehome I say!

HI Milo, I'm Arnie, one of Katkin's indoor felines and I haven't met any frogs yet- what are they like? I know what a tank is - we've got 3 fish in a tank in the bathroom and I love to tap the glass and say hello to them but they won't come out to play!

If your mum won't let you have another frog you could always try a cockatiel- the one in our bathroom is huge fun and we had a great time last week when I managed to topple his cage upside down and scatter seed, water and sand all over the floor (mummy wants to know how I managed to miss the fish tank so next time I'll have to try that one). Pooh the cockatiel didn't seem to mind being tipped over but mum's wedged something in front of the cage to stop me doing it again. I'm a kitten though and us kittens always like a challenge.
Take care Milo - I'm off now to chew the latest houseplant and tip soil all over the rug in the kitchen - Alfie my big barmy bengal brother says it will be a nice surprise for mum n dad when they get home and I always aim to please...
