Unfortunately, I can't really join in this thread as (a) I don't currently drive and (b) I don't currently have a job :o but I just wanted to say you have great musical taste!

Either Hallam FM if in t'mood for radio, Drum n Bass on the motorway and a spot of something more mellow in built up areas (today it was Depth Charge if anyone knows them).

Usually either Radio 2 or one of Dad's CDs (usually Russell Watson or Mum's Pan Pipes music).

If I had a car it would be tuned to Radio 1, especially at Mills time. Otherwise it would be plugged into my MP3 player which currently contains:

Linkin Park - In The End
Elton John - Circle of Life
Blink 182 - Miss You
Coldplay - Speed of Sound
Dizzie Rascal - Stand Up Tall
Electric Six - Gay Bar
Eminem - Like Toy Soldiers
Five - Keep On Movin'
Goldie Lookin' Chain - Your Mother's Got A Penis
Keane - Bedshaped
Keane - This Is The Last Time
Moby - We Are All Made Of Stars
Mylo - Drop The Pressure
Nelly & Kelly Rowland - Dilemma
Oasis - Some Might Say (Live)
Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama Out
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
The Libertines - Don't Look Back Into the Sun

A very random mix I think you'll agree...

That is such a great album. OK Computer is always in my car. I love Radiohead.

Sadly I usually listen to the news on the way home as I'm a saddo current affairs junkie. (Also I'm usually in the car when the hour goes up one, so the timing's good!)

I walk to work but alternately have my ipod on shuffle or listen to radio 4 on my little portable radio.

Weirdly, my ipod has started to mesh with my moods. The other day I was walking to work at 5:30am and it was on 'shuffle' and it played me some really soothing relaxing music. Sometimes when I'm walking up a hill it will skip to a really loud rock track to help propel me up!

I like to hear the moans and groans of my boss fading away in the distance.

Usually Radio 2 (unless I'm playing one of my own CDs ofcause).
Quite often if it's "on the hour" I'll switch over to Radio Sheffield but usually it's Radio 2.

That Stuart Marconie's a clever bloke isn't he? Last summer, I'm driving along Fulwood Road and he's playing an almighty record and I'm tapping away at my steering-wheel.

Song finishes and he says: "I bet you were tapping away at your steering wheel, weren't you?"

Obviously, since then, everytime I've driven along Fulwood Road, I've been keeping an eye open for suspicious looking Radio 2 deejays who happen to have a sixth sense.

Depends where I am

Hallam FM
Chiltern FM (I think)
Lincs FM

All because there is more traffic news than is broadcast on the travel news bulletins. You have to stay tuned to stay informed

I think the CD player has Warrant in it at the moment - for those phoneboy/majerison moments  (although phoneboy isn't as annoying as he used to be)
