Tonight a few of us from the rescue took our hounds that have no, or very little recall for an off lead run in an indoor arena. The dogs loved it, although they are all well exercised on lead we had to be careful how much time we gave them off, we needent have worried though as they were all pooped after 5 mins :gag: . Here are a few piccies. anna.x.
the first piccie is Suzie who was rescued 6 weeks ago weighing just 23kg, shes now 27kg and still skinny but is just looking so much better, her furs coming through lovely now and was fabulous to see her having so much fun, look at her run.

Oh sorry, didnt say, they are all our own, thankfully these lot are all very lucky and totally ruined bless them. Suzie is the newest rescue but is loving her new life. We just cant trust this lot of as they are either still too keen or have limited recall. ;) they did have so much fun though and im sure durham and pee pee will too Jill, if you want to come next week? anna.x.

aww they look amazing- as you say anna, nothing liek seeing a pointy dog RUN! I love to watch Ailsa running along a beach (dobes have a bit of greyhound in their mix so they are brill runners when they get going). Your gang looked like they had a great time and hope they get to do it again soon

When my brother had Irish Wolhounds there were usually at least 6 in the house- a tiny 2 up miners cottage too!

Durham and Peepee say "yes please", Peepee doesn't know that she is a lurcher and should be really good like Uncle Durham...so it's about time that she learned :D

I am in love with the one in photo 42 - I wish the dobermutt could feel the same way about greyhounds but she is too much of a dramaqueen to share
