How about a separate area for flaming people? Any off-topic bitching in threads could also be snipped and moved to this section, with appropriate links, so that the personal argument could be carried on without getting in the way of 'serious' (hahaha) debate.
Obviously there'd still have to be certain rules - threats and bigotry are two no-nos that immediately spring to mind - but it might also be a good way for people to let off steam at each other.
Plus it'd kind of be fun (as long as the no-nos were decently stamped on).

great idea  :hihi:
Won't happen.
The whole "family friendly" ethos of the forum wouldn't allow it.

Yeah I know, but it'd be hilarious if there was one.

I thought 'Forum Suggestions' was for serious suggestions, though.

Who's to say it wasn't? Yes, it would be a very funny addition to the site, that doesn't equate to bad (at least not in my world, I'd be loathe to speak for you). Just because there's a very slim chance of it happening doesn't mean it's not a valid suggestion.
If you're not happy then there's always the option of making a suggestion of your own. How about 'Only suggestions personally vetted by 04jessops as having enough brevity and weight should be allowed in this section'?

Did you get out of the wrong side of bed several times or something?
