The very first meet.

Meet at Cineworld in the bar area between 6.30 and 7.15ish, in time for the 7.30 showing of The Dark Knight.

Errr.....not sure what else to say really! Thought could just have a quick drink/coffee before the film, watch it and then possibly stay and have a drink afterwards!

Ah, I think I might be able to kick myself down the hill for that as well... I'm still in shock at discovering that Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy were once in the running as Batman and Robin. Dark Knight looks interesting. As long as I can force myself to get over the horrendous pun I should be ok.

I've never fancied a Batman film before, but I have to say this one does look very good! Everything I've read has been good, so I'll definately give it a go! Good to see a few names going on this thread, I'm hoping we can have a few of these meets. I hate it when nobody wants to see a film with you, I don't mind going to the cinema on my own, but I know other people wouldn't consider it.

I'm afraid I'm of to see my friend on Wednesday who's just been in Australia for a month for all the gossip. I shall however, try and entice him to Printworks in Manchester on the following day so as not to miss out and I'll think of you all when I'm there (if I can get him to go!)

As mentioned in the other thread, I'm afraid Wednesday is not possible for me (which is a shame as that would be 2 extra free tickets available and the ability to ignore any queues). Wednesday is my better half's cinema day, so I stay home with the kids.

We will be having other film meets too....keep your eyes on the group for new ones, or of course if you want to set one up at any time, you're very welcome to :)

As soon as I know the timings for the X-Files film on 6 August - that'll be one I'm setting up so be prepared people if you want to go.

Went to see it tonight - absolutely loved it. Will have to go see it again with you guys if I can find you :)

Was a bit strange after the film ended - they told us all to leave via the Fire Exit - maybe for a quick change before next showing - bit of a pain as I wanted the loo and the car park didn't seem appropriate :P

Ok then, because Edna is not able to do Wednesday any longer, we have decided to change the date of this meet to Tuesday 29th July, this coming Tuesday!! Although this means that it won't be held on Orange wednesday, it does mean the cinema will be a bit quieter and a few other people who can't make Wednesday will be able to turn up.

Just seen this film, and bloody Hell, it was good. Well worth its IMDB score.

Thanks to everyone who turned up :) Glad you all managed to find us ok! Couldn't believe how busy it was last night, I think it was a good job we didn't go for a Wednesday, they always seem 10x busier than any other weeknight!!!
