View Full Version : Hopping to the rescue! Bunny saves Australian couple from fire! Lotti 24-07-2008, 13:15 What a fab little critter :D http://uk.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080724/tod-australia-animal-offbeat-37b0eca.html teeny 24-07-2008, 16:17 aww how clever is that ? My bunny Ellie used to stay in over night but since she bit my hubby's toes when he was asleep she is banned from sleeping with us , however i do note that Dave and Ellie are both asleep on the settee now !!! no toe biting katkin 24-07-2008, 16:24 we loved our bunny thumper but the other half was allergic to her and the dobermutt was way too clumsy around her so she went to be an indoor bunny elsewhere. spottie2101 25-07-2008, 12:10 Our bunny used to live inside but after 7 telephones, new alcertraving round the door and new kitchen cupboard doors he went to live outside in the garden with his girlfriend we got him (he was snipped though we are responsible) unfortunatly she died 2 years later, then his new girlfriend died about 6 months ago but she was a rescue rabbit so quite old to begin with. To be honest i think he prefers it he comes in if the door is open stays a few moments and hops back outside again. His favourite trick is to pull at your trouser leg if you are pegging out the washing to get your attention usually if he wants some food. He chases the cat (he is atcually bigger than her though due to stunted growth) but she runs off and accepts it and the dogs just accept he is one of the gang. He is usually in the garden when we are around and then we put him in his hutch and run at night in case a stray cat has a go at him but we leave his run open during the day and he sometimes takes himself in anyway. |
