There is a place in Meadowhall that sells poker chips, or at least did. Its one of the the small stalls in the rood court. "The Lanes" area I think.

OR you can buy games kits in the gadget shops near bodyshop- there about £10-15 and you get 5 casino games in them.

You could try ebay. I know someone who recently bought loads of them there for a competition. They were cheap and nasty chips but they were... well cheap!

He also got a very nice of clay chips from TK Maxx? (Orchard Square) - about 30 quid I think he said.

Or "Must Have It" (going towards Debenhams) were selling 'carousels' containing 200 chips at Xmas for £16 each. We bought 5 sets cos everywhere else the same sets were going for £25.

The chip quality varies greatly between different makes. Have a 'feel' ( :heyhey: ) of them before you buy. Nothing worse than throwing cheap 'Connect 4' standard chips when you're trying to make a confident bluff.

Well, I've bought what will probably turn out to be a pretty rubbish set from Argos for £12.99 (reduced from £20 - 200 chips, mat and a set of cards). Will have to see how it goes!

i found the argos ones quite good (we have 2 sets cus we found when we wanted more chips it was cheaper to buy a set than 2 boxes of chips) the only prob being deciding what each chip is worth

For anyone else that may be interested in buying poker chips, forget Must Have It at Meadowhall - it's closed down.....

Wouldn't have thought they'd be clay at £20 for 200.

the chips from Argos are plastic, I got a set of a thousand numbered clay chips from ebay in a solid case for £70 and they are great for late night texas hold em :)

Netto are selling a poker set (chips+cards+case) from Thursday 12th May.

It's £14.99.

I'm not sure what the quality is like though.
