Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find disposable cake box? I've just visited the cook shop up abbeydale road but they didn't stock them. Any ideas?
Thank you.
If you mean as in a cardboard box, why not try asking at your local bakery see if they'll sell you one.
Lakeland sell some lovely ones, but I can't find them on their website at the moment- damn!

There is a fantastic shop on the gallery (above the castle markets) which sells loads of cake decorating stuff. The staff are really friendly and they stock almost anything you could want. They are not expensive either.

I love the shop at the markets, I haven't had a reason to go in for ages though because I haven't done any cakes. I need to find a cake decorating course somewhere I think......

Thanks for the replies. I've managed to get the box from Castle Market on the gallery as recommended. I think it's called Cards and Cake Craft. The ladies there are friendly, helpful and welcoming even if you're just browsing. The shop is open from Mon - Sat from 0930 -1630 and is closed on Thursdays.
The cake was delicious. Remind me next time not to do a fresh cream cake in the summer heat!!
