does anyone know what happened there this morning about 10.30ish i drove down hagg hill and the police seemed to be looking around the left side of hagg hill there were 3 police cars and they seemed to be setting something up

Most likely a speed camera or suchlike. Our brave bobbies are often to be found round there.

Yeah, they love that bit of the road, coming up to the S-bends they like to nab a few on the way past. If you listen to the Hallam traffic report they usually mention the Rivelin Valley speed traps.

wasnt the speed camera as it was on the way up hagg hill on the left where footpath begins

Just out of interest, is that where it is a recognised pick up area. I see many single men around Hagg Lane when I walk my dogs

Someone found a human leg in a plastic bag early this morning apparently.

Its a road commonly known as " lovers lane" where people go to meet, just off hagg hill! Not sure about dogging at rails road though....sounds dodgy (not doggy!)

Anyone know anything about this limb in a plastic bag?
