I am in desparate need of a new haircut - Can anyone recommend a good place to go - not too expensive. Somewhere I would feel comfortable and at ease with the person cutting me hair?

The prices are resonable and they're very cool and relaxed. La Coupe is also good, but more expensive. DON'T go to Bete Noire on Glossop Road, it's ridiculously overpriced and the 'chief hair colourist' (remain nameless) apparently doesn't know how to bleach dark hair! My housemate gets her hair done at The Cutting Club on Devonshire Street, quite dear but it always looks good. Elite on Division Street is good if you want something really funky (Tim comes highly recommended). Hope that helps!
