DaFoot 21-07-2008, 08:35 .... I think the Open University do something, can't be sure. Open Uni definitely do a course. The reviews for the course seem a bit hit and miss, it appears it relies on discussion between people enrolled rather than feedback from tutors. I keep toying with the idea of signing up, but never seem able to find the money! Most of the stuff you would learn on a course can be found in online tutorials that people kindly share. Developing an eye for a picture... read the photography forums, read magazines, study other people's images - what makes them work? Why does a particular picture fail to grab you? etc etc. DaFoot 21-07-2008, 10:51 Open uni course details: http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C01T189 Reviews of above course: http://www3.open.ac.uk/coursereviews/course.aspx?course=T189 lyndsayx 21-07-2008, 14:52 Thanks for going to the trouble of typing all that for me, much appreciated :) I am really looking for a class as i learn much better that way where i can ask questions as they come up and actually show me how to do something rather than online. I started on a City & Guilds course about 10 years ago but stupidly didn't continue with it. Open Uni sounds interesting though, so will have a look into that, cheers. |
