First off, if you are using XBox Media Player (XBMP), you need to consider upgrading to XBox Media Center (XBMC) as it's much newer. I couldn't get XBMP to work on my network, but XBMC worked first time. I'll try and find you some good links that explain the config.....

Right, the XBMC homepage is at http://www.xboxmediacenter.de/. There's a How To Use section and an online manual that I recall were a great help in getting mine set up. Have a look around there and see if that helps, if not, shout up! :thumbsup:

The main ploblem with straming to or from your xbox is always getting the config files right so dont be scared to open and edit these (notepad will edit them)but save a copy before you start via FTP

I've never bothered much with streaming as ifind a nice big hdd and a good version of XBMC does what i need. If you do decide to carry on with streaming tho..make sure that your ip address, default gateway and subnet mask are all entered right in both your streaming server and in your system settings.

If your still having problems with it, feel free to PM me as i've built a good few xbox's and come across most problems. I tend to rewrite the EvoX ini file so it automates things better .
