Do they call themselves the glitter band? ..... I saw them at crooks club just before christmas last year, they were fabulous, they are all middle aged, dressed in 60's glam rock cat suits and platforms and sing all the glam rock songs ........... what i want to know is ............ do they only perform around christmas time or have they venues throughout the year? ...... any info is welcome

But I wonder what did happen to the Glitter Band? Presumably they had to split up, after Gary was forcibly banged up? I wonder if a little bit of the dirt rubbed off on them by association, even though they didn't have anything to do with it?

a sort of pee take tribute to all things glam rock, cat suits, platforms, greese paint and daft wigs.... ones dressed as alice cooper, one as bowie (in oddisy days) .... gary glitter etc etc etc, they usually have a comedian on to start with and they do a lot of fund raising .. Its a really good night, I highly reccomend them :thumbsup:
