Going there tomorrow and promised to find out if it was open.. have reassured friends that SF won't let me down! Anyone know if it has re-opened yet?

nope - when we peered in the window a couple of weeks back, there was still a sign on the place inviting tenders to run it.
such a shame its shut - it was wonderful finishing off a couple of hours walk with the kids in the winter with a hot coffee!!

I am gutted as a veteran Graves Park visitor I cannot believe another spring comes and almost goes and still no cafe!!!!!

I go there every week as live in Norton with my 2 year old - he doesn't even ask for an icecream because he has never recalled the cafe being open in his lifetime (memory) unlike my older children who still mention the fact it is closed!!!!!!

such a pity - if it has been done up like the cafe in endcliffe it would be quite a business opportunity. mind you, half the attraction of the place was that it didnt matter if you had half of graves park on your wellies - wouldnt have been surprised to see new born lambs in one of the plastic houses in the play area!

It definately had an 'earthy' charm to it!

we went the other sunday when it was really sunny and it appreared open didn't go as kids wanted the ice cream from the van near the animal park

Wasn't it meant to reopen a year ago??

I heard that the people who run Millhouses Park cafe are going to try and look after Graves Park as well but I don't know how much truth there is to that one.

Sorry to see that the new toilet block has been graffitied already.
