That is exactly what I do DB. I send them back empty.

No, fill them up. If you make them heavier than the pre-paid postage (usually 2nd class) will allow, they have to pay a small fine!

I don't even bother opening it just put it straight in the blue recycling bag. Damn annoying thought cos we as consumers are paying for the bloomin things but at least this way they get reused.

Not junk mail, but...

On Friday morning I checked my post and I had

1) a red council tax bill when I don't pay council tax

2) a red gas bill when I don't use gas

3) a card from the postman saying he couldn't deliver a parcel when he hadn't even knocked!

I phoned the gas company and sorted that out.

I phoned the sorting office and sorted that out.

I phoned the council tax number and was on hold for aaages, then I got put through to someone who was clueless and didn't know why so he put me through to someone else, on hold for aaaages again, then finally a man answered and said they were too busy to take my call and if I left my number someone would call me back. So I said well you're taking my call now can you not deal with it but oh no, that would be too simple. So I left my number.

Needless to say noone called back.

Soooooo annoying!
