William Petersen is set to leave CSI next year, what do you think that will mean for the show, what with Gary Dourdan and Jorja Fox already gone?

I gave up watching it when Jorja Fox left, so didn't realise that Gary Dourdan had also left. What a shame.

It'll last maybe one season without him and then be cancelled. He makes it what it is. So you know the storyline that leads up to him leaving? Maybe it's due to the hearing loss, hereditary disease thing?

I'm not sure what the storyline is going to be but I have read that past characters will be appearing in the run up to him leaving.

Warrick (Gary Dourdan's green eyes...le sigh) left the bar, and got into his car to leave.

Stokes came over (IIRC) and had a brief word with him, then went

A man (the corrupt cop) came over to the car, and made as if to have a conversation with Warrick.

He then proceeded to pull a gin on Warrick, and suddenly shot him through the neck, leaving him bleeding and (presumably) dying in the car.

It was already publicised that he was taking a back seat this series, so it's just the next step from that. Not too surprising. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the story line though, and what happens afterwards. I like the CSI series, there have been a lot of changes lately though and they'll need to handle things well to keep the viewers.

Its so going to get cancelled, everyone who makes the program what it is is leaving and the second half of the last series was a bit pants, except the finale - but it was kind of obvious what was going to happen!!

Wasn't the best episode ever when Nick was buried alive? Didn't Tarantino direct that one? I don't think I've ever been so tense in my life - well apart from when watching 24.

I've never seen an episode but my favourite film is 'Manhunter'. I saw him in 'Live and die in LA' and didn't like it, very 80s.

I think that is possibly the best TV that I have ever seen (apart from 24). Superb stuff.

as someone who has claustrophobia, it really messed with my head, that episode when Nick was burid alive.

We don't know that Warrick is dead, yet. It's not looking good, admittedly, and we will have to wait, with bated breath, until the new series opens... (darn, drat, :rant: :mad: etc, etc)

Well the actor's contract wasn't renewed and I think he's up on drugs charges now too. So I reckon his character will be pretty dead.

not to mention in CSI he got a bullet in the the head followed by one in the neck, if he aint dead he'll have ne hell of a headache.
