It's about time that I started using this fancy Centrino laptop properly so I am looking out for any free access Wi-Fi hotspots around Sheffield. Does anyone know of any that are out there at the moment?

Dont know about anywhere else, but I bought a wi-fi laptop a couple of months ago off of this forum.

Got it home, booted it up and the first thing it did was lock onto a wireless connection !

Now I dont have wireless in the house and my neighbours are all pensioners...I wonder where its coming from

The Workstation (and possibly the Showroom too) on Paternoster Row has Wi-Fi.

they are for NDS users :)

online Mario Kart for free whilst the kids are busy scoffing junk food :)

I only like the chicken sandwiches and the curry sauce

Showroom is free (although not all ports are open, which might stop you using FTP and stuff. Internet is fine though)

What is NDS please?

The last time I tried using my wireless PDA in McDonalds, I had to enrol online then BT asked for a payment too!

Is it still that way?
