I need some help on this one. I have an important meeting tommorrow regarding ways in which to boost the childrens activities which are held at certain centres.
Basically I need ideas, fun ways to which children will respond, activities to get their parents interested and sign them up to classes.
I have a few ideas already but would appreciate any help or ideas you may have! Thanks.

Like to hear what ideas you already have, sounds like an interesting project.
Traditional Board games....my kids still enjoy playing them on a weekend with us...but some families I know only ever play them at Xmas.....!!;)
Bit more info on what exactly you mean though would help!!
ie., are you wanting Adults/Children to do these activities together....when you say join classes (does this cost money) or are you looking for activities for people to become involved in free of charge!
relate any initiatives to popular current kids figures. get them interested.

It's basically a childrens membership package with activities including sports and games aimed specifically at under 16's. We are trying to introduce more children to our centres and I was wondering if you may have some ideas to help in attracting them?
There is a small cost in joining - but Im aiming more at marketing the health / fun side of it. Any ideas would be welcome . . the crazier the better!
How about hiring some of those inflatable activites they do have a childrens Sumo Wrestling one and Ive seen a giant inflatable table football game.
Obviously this would have to be an outdoor activity. You could have it as a fun day but it could be a good idea to attract interest to the other activities on offer.

Why don't you tempt them with the plethora of illegal narcotics that are on sale on every corner of high streets across the land! I'm no expert but 'ecstacy bongs' sound about right.

Where abouts and what sort of centres are they. Is there a minimum age. I would like to know more about what you currently offer. Do the kids stay on the premises or are you able to take them out on trips etc. I might bring my kids along.

get some pc's together and get them to play LAN games, not shoot 'ems like call of duty. More like strategy and building mixed in, command and conquer type.

Glad you like it - if you look in the Yellow Pages under Bouncy Castles you will find ads for them. There is one called DB Entertainment.
