my wife bought one of those cheap fly(green &white plastic type) curtains for the back door today and to our amazement Belle would not go out through them ,if you take them down she will go out, and & come in through them,when you put them back up.She is the only one out of my elevan thats scared & she`s the biggest lol :loopy::loopy:

I recently bought a black silky string curtain for the front door in our living room (something to give a bit of shade but not too heavy). Should have realised it would attract the barmy bengal and his buddies- I keep coming home to find chewed off bits of black silky string all over the floor and have given up tying them back on now- wonder how long before it's all chewed...

i can remember reading this before Katkin, they never sieze to amaze me, my friend has a bulldog & if you laid a sweeping brush across a doorway on the floor he wouldn`t cross it,it was better than any safety gate lol

My lurcher Durham is just the same, he won't go past/through anything new, he took massive amounts of time and persuasion to just walk through doorways when he first came, put something like a mop in the way he will run a mile :D
