So, quite often when bored, I’ll print out a saying, quote or idea. Cut it out and stick it on my monitor. I change it when ever I feel and over the past ten years must have had a wide selection of stupid crap stuck to my screen (both home and work).

At the moment my home computer has

“I don’t want the world, just you’re half!” stuck to it

and my work computer simply has

“Alf Ramsey’s Porn Dungeon” attached via blue tack

Anyway does anyone else do anything similar? What does yours say?

I have a winnie the pooh dangler on my work computer as i am a big winnie the pooh fan.

I have a mini purple disco ball; one kindly forummer gave it me as a gift last week with a note saying 'every mod should have one'! :D

I have a little carved wooden cat stuck to the top of my monitor. My Dad bought it for me in Buxton a couple of years ago when he came down to visit, and it's had pride of place on the monitor ever since.

Oh how I hate it when people stick stuff to their monitors. They always complain if there's a problem with it and I have to take it away.

Post It notes are the worse, if you have to lift the monitor to get into the PC they always fall off. If the user isn't around I worry that some import note might get lost.

Of course if your monitor is your own, feel free to stick as much crap on it as you like. :)

A friend o mine is always printing out his 'wise words of the day' and sticking them to his monitor.

There's something big and stupid attached to my monitor... hang on a minute, it's me D'oh!!!

My bro-in-laws Nan wrapped me a lovely gift for my birthday and 'cos it's near crimbo time (21st Dec) she attached a lovely blue cardboard angel with a blue pompom body on the pressie, just had to keep it, so it stuck on the top righthand corner of my monitor :D

My work monitor currently has a ripped up plastic cup stuck to it and a yellow foam lemon with "easy peasy" printed on it.

My home monitor has a sticker from Regulation (a bondage equipment and fetish shop in London) on it featuring two guys tied together.

There's no room to stick anything to the screen on this notebook :(

The monitor upstairs has 'alt + 0178' and 'DIM TAD = 0' on it :D

Dunno why I have the WAGN customer services number and website stuck to it though :confused:

Seriously though, someone wiped a bogie on mine, it is a flat screen thing, how do i clean it?

I have tried a hammer and chisel to get the now hardened "Crow" off to no avail.

Lie it on it's back Viking, and leave a slightly damp cloth over the offending smear. The salt content will help it to absorb the moisture fairly quickly and it should wipe off easily :thumbsup:

i have a witch's hat sat on the top, a post it with a number for ticket info for a concert i want to see in NY - i'm waiting for my boss to go so i can use the work phone (but keep it to yourself) and a little pic of robbie williams to brighten my day :D

Well super_pie, you've made me think. I haven't got anything stuck to my monitor, but reading this thread has given me an idea. So, I'm writing a series of post-it notes, which read, in sequence, "Log off from forum at midnight and go to bed",
"You are now an hour late", "2 hours late", "It is now 3 hours past bed time", "The time now is 04.00", "Now 05.00am", "Time for breakfast before going to bed?"!

ive got a garfield sticker my son gave me, a Bast statue and a Sekhmet Statue, a little black and white sleeping cat from a friend, an old valentines card off the hubby, a dried flower arangement and a post it note with cats on the bottom reminding me that a tattoo of a angel with afro hair holding a book showing sons names.. needs drawing up for saturday for a fella. :D
