Hi, I'm moving to Sheffield to start a PhD and I'm really keen to meet a like-minded person(s) who is also looking for a new place, with a view to taking a lease on a flat/house. There seem to be some good value 3+ bedroom places out there and I like the idea of setting up a home, and, depending on price, maybe keeping the third/smallest bedroom free for visitors/storage/whatever.

I'm female, 30s, sociable, easy to live with (I like to think), and very respectful of communal space i.e. keep things clean but I'm absolutely not fastidious. I've been housesharing in London for years so I'm well-trained! I really enjoy doing stuff with my current housemates (and will miss them terribly) but also know we all need our space. Love animals so if I could find somewhere that would allow a cat (but I don't have one yet) that would be wonderful. I'm into live music, travelling (although sadly that's on the back-burner for now), cycling, good food and wine, and hanging out in the pub. Really excited about moving to Sheffield - especially for weekend hiking and climbing.

Keen to find a place within reasonably easy access of the University of Sheffield. Need to be settled up there by 1st September.

Get in touch!

Hi,

I have a double bedroom available in Netherthorpe (near University and Netherthorpe tram stop). It's in a two bedroomed maisonette sharing with a first year female PhD student. The house is well furnished, has a large kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom is very big, has a king sized bed, wardrobe and desk. The house is very clean and comfortable, rent is 65 pounds a week excluding bills.

If anyone is interested please email cellisters@hotmail.com for more details.

Thanks!
