Help please..

I am having some difficulty at the moment getting through to the decision makers of companies as follows

Budget holders in schools, or SENCOS, either primary or secondary

Mental health teams in the NHS

Colleges( people who make the decision about staff training)

the Ambulance services

Any training Companies(Other than VAS and the WEA).
So, what I was wondering was if anyone who comes on the forum either works in a school, or any of the above places and knows the names and contact numbers of any of the relevant people, I would appreciate it if you could get their details for me.
This has worked very effectively with the police who I am waiting to come back to me with a decision about my training .This was passed on to me by someone I know.
Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks
J

Think it is the wrong time of year to be approaching schools, management, teaching and support staff are running round like whatnots and are all looking forward to summer breaks.

Inset days for September return will in most cases already arranged.

I would say send out letters towards the end of September, and follow up with a call about a month later once the September/ new intake has settled in. As you probably know SEN have more issues to deal with than other departments at that time of year.

Getting the name of the person responsible for SEN shouldn't be too difficult, a call should get you that from reception / admin. Any contact addressed to a person by name has a better chance of achieving results than a "to whom it may concern"...

I work in a school and we have a few some pupils with extreme asperges, good to see the pupils learn to cope over their time at our school.

Could I just ask, I assume that you work outside Sheffield.
Have you had specific Asperger Traiining?

I will take on board what you have said

You are correct to assume I am outside of Sheffield.

No I have not received specific help with Aspergers, if I did need help/support to understand I know that I can speak to the HOD SEN / LS.
