Hi everyone, I was thinking of growing some fruits (strawberrys etc) and vegetables in my room and have found out about Aerogarden. I know they are expensive but are they worth it? Anyone have any idea / suggestions if aerogarden is the way to go or is there any other system that i can implement in my room? kinda nuts:loopy:

Expensive! It looks quite well designed though.

I think the Aerogarden is probably more suitable for herbs and small plants less than 1ft tall than strawbs etc. and yes it is significantly more expensive than other aeroponic and hydroponic solutions.

If you want expert advice on indoor growing go and have a word with my mates Sam or Chris at Green Spirit Hydroponics (10 Castlegate, bottom of Castle market) and they can hook you up with complete indoor growing kits based around your needs in terms of available space and desired produce.

Much chepaer than an Aerogarden and probably better suited to your needs.
