Has anyone else seen the new ITV show 'People's Court'? I haven't seen such a lot of drivel for a long time.

It seems to me to be a cheap copy of 'Judge Judy', but the Jerome Lynch, who acts as the judge, doesn't have the charisma or presence to carry it off. What do you guys think?

I think it's on at 9:25. It's the replacement for Trisha. And if you thought she was bad Panda, wait till you see this!

Well, I would have thought so too! Tomorrow's story is about neighbours quarrelling about cats in the garden. :o I might have to have a lie down, it's just far too exiting! :shakes: :roll:

I've not seen this but if it's anything remotely like Judge Judy then I would probably detest it. Judge Judy used to be a real judge and was "invited to resign" as a result of her habit of making irrelevant and insulting personal comments. Calling everyone an idiot is OK to get a cheap laugh on a cheap TV show, but it doesn't go down too well in a real court.

I didn't know she was given the push Lickszz? Doesn't surprise me though...

I meant from her real job as a judge, wasn't exactly the push, but it was 'suggested' that she should quit from what I have read elsewhere.

yes i enjoyed the two lads and the crashed car i also thought the two girls with the broken sofa was very funny and as for the two drag queens and the coat :hihi: :hihi:

People's court is rubbish!! That one about the cats was ridiculous! It went:

Man: Shes got too many cats
Woman: Yeah but I like cats
Man: Yeah but I dont
Woman: Yeah but I do
Man: Yeah but they poo in my garden
Woman: No they dont
Man: Yeah they do
Woman: No they dont

Bring back trisha!! Has anyone seen trisha goddard on 5? Its on at 9:25 (you'll have to tape people's court if you want to watch both) and its not a patch on itv trisha.

I now feel that this programme is a cash cow preying on the foolish who text & phone-in with their votes.

Like ringtone sales - it's a tax on stupidity IMO.

It is so wooden & contrived I'm sure the 'accused' & 'defendants' are all actors :D
