I need a new guitar tuner for electric and acoustic and wondered if anyone could recommend a good one?

can't say i've ever used a 'bad' tuner, although beware some cheap ones only do E A D G & B, right pain if you want to use open tunings.

the're more pricy but I'd also recomend getting one of them that clips onto the head stock for accoustic if like me you're too lazy to balance it on your knee.

A Boss TU-2 is no good for the acoustic guitar, unless it's an electro acoustic. The Boss TU-12 might be a better choice, as that will take a line input (from an electric) and has a built in microphone for tuning acoustic instruments.

Well I've got a Boss Tu-2 and I stuck a cheap mic into the input jack and it tunes like a dream. And cos it's chromatic it can tune anything, mandolin, ukulele etc etc.
