View Full Version : Cunning text plan or not
If you were a bloke and you had a girlfriend but you had a bit of history with another young lady and had her number on your phone - what message would you be sending to the young lady if you accidentally! text her when you were out?? I'm confused as to whether he wants me or not? Any advice?
Kristian 19-04-2005, 16:35 Advice? Tell us what he said, and then we can tell you what he means!
Depends how far into the evenings drinking it was when I accidentally sent the text.
Well first time it was fancy a s+++ which wasn't by accident by the way. The next week it was just a blank screen. So i replied saying "cheers for that" and he replied saying "sorry ******" we then had a few more texts along other lines!!! But the second text which was blank was at about 7.30ish at night!

Not that old chestnut!
Ok..he'll say he was drunk and/or sent it to you by mistake. Whatever he txt, I'm going to bet he meant whatever he said really - and add some.
If what he said didnt make much sense he's probably just hedging his bets or was just v drunk.
Ive heard it called 'tequila texting' which Ive done before and had done to me...can be quite enjoyable tho!
Thinkin about it more tho - sometimes I am just sayin hi..
If he's with someone at the mo..I'd recommend staying clear - for now at least.
threecolours 19-04-2005, 16:42 Wrote my reply before Id seen yours!
Cutglass 19-04-2005, 16:42 Hmmm.... a drunken or sober text, if drunken it's not a compliment, and like Kristian says, the context of the text would help.
I don't believe there's such a thing as an accidental txt tho', you accidentally press the buttons, you accidentally press the number and accidentally press send
Cutglass 19-04-2005, 16:43 sorry threecolours, was writing my reply while you were posting yours
but seriously girty, sounds as tho' the guy is playing you.

Not just me then, I've a terrible habit of getting people mixed up on my phone..
How do you accidentally send 'fancy a sh**' to an ex when your with someone else  Please enlighten me..
Cutglass 19-04-2005, 16:50 but that's just mixin up the numbers, which we've all done  but sending a few similar txts asking for sex, doesn't seem accidental to me
threecolours 19-04-2005, 17:00 Can I just salvage my reputation pls!
I was saying Ive got texts mixed up and replied to the wrong person/said the wrong thing. I wasnt particularly saying I send txts with 'fancy a s***' round.
I agree - I think this guy is probably playin around.
Cutglass 19-04-2005, 17:06 sorry threecolours, wasn't saying you sent saucy txts  but was trying (unsuccessfully) to say the guy who sent them accidently just seems to be playing this poor girl.

No worries...have sent you a text to reply...sorry I mean a PM..
Kristian 19-04-2005, 17:15 Steer clear is my advice. An ex saying 'fancy a drink one night' is very different to one saying 'fancy a s***'!
In vino veritas! thats what they say!! I used to get stupid 'blank screen texts' off my pest of an ex, they would drive me insane.. lets just say your definitely on his mind (ehmm)! although i agree with Kristian, steer clear unless a **** is all your looking for (im not saying you looking at all BTW) xx
If he is asking you for a S**g and he has a girlfriend - do you really want to give this bloke any of your time!!
Someone I know ended up in a similar situation hoping he would want a relationship with her but he didn't, after weeks of just being his S**g Buddy she realised that was all he wanted and she ended up feeling really used.
Don't do it, find someone who is not going to play silly games with you.
Apart from which his girlfriend might be a Bunny Boiler and come after you!!!:(
Thanks for all your advice i have taken it on board i will ignore it in future. Girty x
