looking in my local music shop yesterday most of the singles were around the £3.00 mark which i find quite expensive when you think you can get albums for around £10.00 with around 12 tracks on so are singles worth the money
ive bought 1 cd single this year the j lo one and that was only because it was 1.99 last year i got about 6 in total i used to buy about 10 or more singles or more a month before that but with the prices the ability to download plus the fact they are poor value for money maybe all cd singles should be a set price just to avoid confusion:thumbsup:

I havent bought a single for around 3-5 years. I often buy albums though. I perfer to be able to hold my purchase as apposed to mp3s. I would however buy a CD with a complete works of a band in MP3 format.
I hardly ever buy singles anymore for that same reason. It's a rip-off for a couple of songs compared to the price of an album. I only occasionally buy them if they've got enhanced CD ROM/DVD section on them and then it has to be for one of my favourite bands/artists.
