hi guys, long time no see, May is now 14 mths and its been about that long since ive been on here!

my normal last period was 21st june, i had a momentary lapse of sex abstenance on the 2nd of july and then had what i thought was the start of a period on the 9th july, but then it just stopped, i thought it was strange, either to have a period then or to bleed for no reason.

i looked up nhsdirect and decided it might just have been a mighty ovulation?

then my sister (bless her) got a bit giddy and mentioned 'implantation bleeding'

has any one else had this happen? should i start looking for a doublebuggy?

any advise glady recieved xx

I did not experience this but have read that it can happen...... the reason that some women do not know that they are pregnant, they think that they have had a light or short period.

Only one way to know for sure....... let us know.

I had this with all 3 of mine. Only way to know is wait a week or so and pee on that stick

I had it with my daughter and in this pregnancy too, both around 6/7 weeks

I had one when i was 6 weeks pregnant mine only lasted 2 days and wasnt that heavy but if ur unsure then id suggest u do a test, good luck with everything x

I would take a test at your earliest chance, or, if you get any pain, get advice. I thought implantation bleeding was scarcely noticeable, maybe it differs from person to person. Some women get periods with some pregnancies - poor things! I think it might be sensible to rule out an ectopic pregnancy though.

I got what I thought was a period (didn't know I was pregnant) but noticied it was a bit lighter than usual, and only lasted 2 days as opposed to the usual 4. When I missed the following month (or 2 :blush:) I did a test, then when I had a scan I was a month later on than I expected, so must have been an implantation bleed according to the midwives

Turned out to be nothing, im just having a weird cycle and laying big eggs!
