Hi Danamy

You should expect to pay anything from £8 to £25 per hour for a bookkeeper and a professionally qualified accountant would be looking for at least £25 per hour.

However, the market is competitive and you should look for a fixed price deal that gives you exactly what you want. Ask 2 or 3 people to quote (no obligation, no charge). There are a few who post on these boards - search for accountant :)

I have been a Chartered Accountant for too many years and will offer an hourly rate or a fixed fee quote but any fee will ONLY be fixed if the job is as described. I will always give a free, no obligation first meeting. If interested ring 01142646467 or 07812481906 or try ian@ianbthompson.co.uk.

PS: Don't go for the lowest fee unless you have good nerves!

Probably not what you want, but with Liquid Accounts, you can do a great deal of it yourself and work with your accountant to save time and money.

this is what Accounting Web thought of us-not bad eh? (http://www.accountingweb.co.uk/cgi-bin/item.cgi?id=186010&d=1032&h=1023&f=1026&dateformat=%25o%20%25B%20%25Y)
