I'm a big fan of these films and I've just watched 3 out of my collection the past few days. They're such great stories and there's appears to be a lot of meaning behind most of them.

Just wondered if anyone else enjoys them?

Yes! I love them. Kiki, Spirited Away, Princes Mononoke, My neighbour Totoro, Laputa, Howl...they are all so beautiful.

Oh I forgot about Howl's moving castle.

I think my fav's are Totoro, Princes Mononokoe and Howl's.

I watched Pom Poko today, that made me kinda sad :(

I haven't seen that one, is it good?

I love Howl's Moving Castle, he's such an arrogant charmer! There's something so spiritual about Mononoke...and Totoro and Kiki are so sweet, they just make me smile for hours after. I can't name a favourite...maybe Spirited Away, the first one I saw.

It's different. It's about a group of Racoons who try and save their forest as workmen are building on their land.

It's worth watching but not one of the best. I also watched Nausicaa and Porco Rosso. They were ok but the others are better.

Ooh just looked up the films and there's one called Panda! Go Panda! I want to see that!

well, that sounds totally mad. I'll have to watch it sometime.:D Never heard of 'Panda! Go Panda!' but any film with that name has to be good! I don't mind Nausican and Porco, but yeah, I prefer the others you mentioned.

'return of the cat', just remembered that one, pretty good, strange though.

Yeah I like Return of the Cat too.

The Racoon one is just bizarre I don't want to say too much as may spoil it, but it just feels different to the others.

I so need to buy the Panda one now. I've got loads of them but haven't watched them all yet. As I'm off work this week I thought I'd work through them :)
