Thursday 17th July
It’s not many UK bands who can say they were taken to America by one of the most successful A&R reps of the decade… after playing only one gig. That’s what happened to Logan, and it merely typifies the great things that this band has achieved in such a short space of time.

The band’s earliest recordings quickly caused a buzz after being placed on a select few U.S. based Web Boards. Within a few months Logan had picked up a large and loyal fanbase in the USA that led to their songs being played on college and some mainstream radio, all across the country. Ironically, it was Logan’s early success in America that ultimately led to them breaking in the UK.

Former Creed Guitarist, Mark Tremonti, was made aware of Logan by a mutual friend. When Creed broke up and Tremonti came to the UK with his new band, Alter Bridge, he invited Logan to open up the Glasgow show, and unlike most support bands who play their set to polite applause at best… Logan had the whole venue in the palm of their hand by the end of the second song!

The huge success enjoyed by Logan that night, led to the band being invited to join Alter Bridge on their next two consecutive UK tours. Needless to say, Logan triumphed every night, and in every city! In the space of 9 months Logan had gone from being largely unknown, to being a band who sold out their first UK Headline Tour and then self released a single which entered the Official UK Rock Chart at Number 12. That single stayed in the Top40 for Seven Weeks!

Logan are Kenny Collins on Vocals, Al Reilly & Mick Coll on Guitars, Steve Reilly on Bass and Iain Stratton on Drums.
