I’ve been invited to add a thread in this group promoting my brewery so here goes.
We are a new start brewery based in the G4 development on Carlisle Street East (800 meters from Kelham Island). Although we are relatively new, I have successfully sold test brews last year in the Hillsborough Hotel and the Kelham Island Tavern.
The chairman for CAMRA gave great feedback on my beers, doing his best to drink a lot of the porter I had made!
All my cask beers are made from natural ingredients with no additives. The malt is Castleford and the hops from Kent. The spent grains go to a local farmer, and the used hops go to the allotment society in Crosspool for fertiliser / compost. (Yes it’s me who dumps bags of them at your gate!!)
We are about to launch our beers on to the market in a few weeks and I can guarantee you that they are packed full of flavour. If you see us on the bar try a pint, you wont be sorry.
You can read more about us at www.thebrewcompany.co.uk
Cheers!
