If you wanted a house really near the city centre I am renting a room out from now (although I have paid the rent until september so you would only have to pay from then) in a lovely house on the edge of Broomhall (in the nicer part). It is literally a five minute walk from the city centre, is fully furnished, 2 bathrooms, has TV and broadband etc. The room itself is a spacious double attic room on the third floor. You would be staying with 5 third year female students, all lovely and fairly quiet and easy to get on with!
