Adult Isthmic Spondylolisthesis (Slipped Vertebra)

First of all - sorry Mods if I put this in the wrong section but my Ask an Expert section has gone!!!

Can anyone give me any tips on how to go about living with the pain that this is causing...And can anyone recommend a good chairopracticionner or physio to deal with this. This was revealed by an x-ray after having severe lower back pain. I am at the stage now where I can't sleep due to the paid and in a morning it has totally seized up...The doc is referring me but I can't wait that long to see someone so who can anyone recommend???

Many thanks!

You have all my sympathy Liose.
I suffered with the same thing a few years ago and the pain is unbearable at times, be very careful going to a Chiropractor! you first need to know that they are state registered, and second only go if you have spoken to your doctor to make sure they approve.

I know a good osteopath who is state registered and works inside a doctors surgery, but he is a bit far away (near junction 27 of the M1) but if you want to know any more send me a PM, but good luck in what ever you choose.
