squeakyclean 09-07-2008, 08:03 PM Just thought I'd share a couple of pics of our Angus with you, we got him from a forum member back in January and can't believe how much he has become such a big part of our family! When we first got him, we laid down some rules "Angus is not allowed on the new leather sofa" and "He's not allowed dirty pigs ears on the rug"!!!

JarvisCocker 10-07-2008, 10:20 AM Awwww what a cutie! I know what you mean about the rules going out of the window. Exactly the same happened when we got Evie (Miniature Schnauzer). We've only had her since Feb and I know what you mean about them becoming a big part of the family. It's like we've had her forever now. She's decided her bed is the sofa and my hubby sits on the floor!
pinkgirl 10-07-2008, 10:26 AM He is lovely
We set rules too:rolleyes: Leah wasn't allowed on the
leather settee, wasn't allowed upstairs.
Her favourite place is 3rd sons bed:hihi:
She too loves chillin on the settee- and she has lead
the pups upstairs for a nose around:rolleyes:
holidayhutch 10-07-2008, 11:30 AM He is gorgeous - nice to see you stuck to the rules:hihi:
Strix 10-07-2008, 02:17 PM Hehe - funny how they manage to set the rules themselves ;)
We still have the rules but Brude's intelligent enough to know we're allowing them to be broken - that and if he doesn't ask to get on the sofa he gets turfed off, and there has to be a dog blanket on it too. At times when he gets too big for his boots living in the lap of luxury we just apply all the rules firmly until he gets used to the idea he's the dog again ;)
squeakyclean 12-07-2008, 07:44 PM Ahh Bertie, snooper is simply adorable.
teeny 12-07-2008, 07:49 PM ohhhh how cute yes we have had those rules here to but we brought covers for the settee and now both badger and Mojo have their own settee!!! and we sometimes have to sit on the floor too

Yes, Zeb is slowly adjusting to the fact that he gets on the sofa for a cuddle when I say so, not when he feels like it.
But I don't think it'll be long before I'm on the chair - it's amazing how much space 2 dogs and a damn cat can take up. I end up teetering on the edge, and most uncomfortable :hihi:
