How much would i expect to pay for a corgi gas man to remove a gas fire. I'd need the pipe work capping as i want to put in an electric fire instead.

thanks but it would be a couple of weeks before ill have access to the property. could you give me an idea of prices in the mean time?

i would usually charge 35 pound for a gas check and disconnection. a little more for bricking up and skimming etc.

but depends were you are .. i am in the mosborough side of Sheffield so would not travel across town and would expect a local plumber to take the job . :)

most areas are covered with guys and all charge similar prices for such a small job.
