C.A.T.S. have today picked up 5 - 2 week old kittens - and all are in need of bottle feeding.

It needs to be someone who is experienced in feeding such young kittens and keeping their eye on them. They will need bottle feeding roughly every 4 hours - day and night.

pm me if anyone can help the poor things

We will pay for anything that they need

Poor little things, wonder if Medusa might have a space for them, I do hope that someone can take them.

I would have a try with them and have a cat that would probably "mother" them but it would probably be better for someone experienced to do it really.

and whats that supposed to mean? I think Moonbird does a fantastic job with her foster pups:)

Please let us know what happens with the kittens Jacquie, I would offer to take them but I'm away for a few days and to be quite honest, I think we are probably full to bursting now!

How long is this commitment for? are you looking for someone to take all 5 for 8-ish weeks?

I am sure that Medusa would love to help but she is not about for a day or two :(

I would love to help but I have my own little kitten to feed every second :(

Please let us know how you get on. I am sorry I can not be of further help.

I know:blush:

Another 20 paws to add to the collection!:hihi:

Just spoke to Jackie and she says they are looking for a mother who has just had kittens to feed them if possible. Obviously, this would be the best option for the kitttens, but she is holding a meeting tomorrow, and is going to let me know what they decide.

Good luck:D

Thanks to everyone who has offered their help for these little babies today.
After a long and hectic/stressful day - Jackie has managed to get them sorted, with the help of lots of people and other rescues.

They are being cared for tonight, by the generosity of a fosterer who will care for them.

Anyone who could phone Jackie (reasonable times) and leave their number if they could offer such help in the future - would be appreciated. Its cost money to get them to safety too - so any donations to help it would be appreciated.

She has told me the story of how they have come today and I have even been shocked. The things this woman does - all in the name of animal welfare, is amazing. I think I will have to call her superwoman.

Thanks everyone

All the rescues are absolutely flooded with pregnant mums or kittens at the moment. Trouble is, the fosterers who already have kittens - can't take any more on

so its great if people can offer to help

I will forward any offer of help - or please check out our web site and phone the numbers on the CATS/RABBITS - then on left hand side - there are rescues on there by area.

We do have some vouchers available for cats to be spayed - if anyone has any roaming street cats that need doing - or know of any cats in the neighbourhood who nobody seems to own, and who constantly keep producing. (As long as they don't belong to anyone obviously).
