If there are any people out there that are looking for a dog, then have you ever considered a Greyhound.

People dont always think of this breed when they are after a dog but they make wonderful pets.

They dont need a lot of exercise, less than your average lab or alsation. They dont cost alot to feed and have an excellent gentle temprement. All they really want is for someone to put them in a comfy warm bed they can call there own and to be loved. (oh and fed)

They have a very high spirit and are really intelligent so will learn things very very quickly. Most wil learn first time of asking where their toilet is so there would be no need for the accidents that happen when buying an unknown pup.

Im sure that anyone who has had a greyhound in the past will tell you, once you've had one you will see this breed in a totally different light.

If anyone would like to know anything else about this wonderful noble breed then please dont hesitate to ask me.

I would absolutely love one, but my very very possessive Lurcher wouldnt be very happy.

Obviously he does have greyhound in him but I dont think would take kindly to another one.

They are fantastic dogs ...... Iam definately in agreement with you there and its sad to think once theyve been raced no one is interested in them as they are soooooo affectionate and serene!!

We have a Boxer - she is the best natured dog I have ever know.

Infact I have just fetched her from the vet - in an earlier post about Litter louts I had mentioned she had cut her paw on carelessly thrown beer bottle!

Take heed - whatever Dog you buy take out insurance I have just forked out £300 to get her paw stitched!!!

She is 12 and too old to insure now. :(

got to agree with all the above,i'd always thought of greyhounds as "just" racing dogs but my mate recently got one from the the rescue centre....he's a lovely dog and very intelligent.
