I'm on a bit of a wedding roll at the moment - even if it is 10 months away....

I am looking for a masquerade / venitian-style mask on a stick. I have looked in Atkinsons, joke shops and ebay but I can't see exactly what I want. I want a mask thats cream and plum / mullbery but I don't want feathers and ideally not too bling. A small pearl detail would be cool.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good excuse for a weekend trip to Venice! There are shed loads there!

LOL, I love your logic - alas I was hoping for something a little cheaper.

There must be somewhere in the region or an arty type who could make one?

I've seen the ones on Division Street - not found anything 'perfect' yet.

Decorating my own might be an idea, I just don't trust myself

There's a shop at Woodseats that has them - Molly Limpett's Theatre Emporium.
It's on the right side heading out of town kind of near Blundells I think.

I have been up to be inspired today and angela has got in masks she said you can nip up and have a look or she can order you what you want as long as she has plenty of notice

Thanks I'll have to have a look in these shops - wish there was soemthing nearer to the centre as I don't drive but I've got plenty of time :)

I have also found this website: http://www.masksofvenice.co.uk/ I like one of the luxury range except for the mock jewel charms so have contacted them.

Have you tried Alice Takes A Trip in the forum - i think she makes them herself so you could probs have a lot of input.
