Hi,
I work for a company called Energy Services who specialise in helping homeowners and private tenants cut their fuel bills and carbon footprint by providing cavity wall and loft insulation.
Their is no charge for the over 70's or anyone on certain benefits and if you don't quaify to get it done free the majority of people only pay £150 for each type of insulation (dependant on the size of your property) Obviously private tenants would need the permission of their landlord.
Alot of people already think their lofts are sufficiently insulated, but have a look and if the insulation is 60mm or less (about 2.5 inches) we can top it up to 250mm (about 10 inches) which will obviously save you more money on your fuel bills.
If you are interested or know anybody that might be please send me an email or PM me and I can arrange a survey of your property. Now is the ideal time to get the insulation done obviously in time for the winter.
Cheers
Martin
