oh dear .... i'm not very often at home on a saturday night but tonight i am . and flipping through the channels , to my horror i stumbled across ' MADONNA MANIA' .... basically madonna's songs being sung by rubbish talentless celebrities . why do they think we want to watch this? well maybe some people enjoy it , but not me . there was a Queen one on the other day too. If i wanted to listen to Madonna or Queen or Abba etc i would listen to their album , not watch rubbish low profile 'celebrities' that ive never even heard of make a complete mess of it!

LOL thankfully my kid switched channels. You know when there is something thats annoying you... just in the background ... you just can't work out what it is though! Well it was that. Felt way calmer once the channel was switched over. :clap:

well at least if madonna's songs are being sung by rubbish talentless celebrities, it makes a change for you than the songs being sung by the talent shy rubbish original artist.
the obvious question is why are you watching it, don't you have anything useful to do?

well , i watched it for a couple of minutes whilst flipping channels ... then realised there was absolutely nothing on worth watching and came on here instead :) if i'm home on a saturday night i wont be doing much else except dossing around watching telly , drinking tea and enjoying a bit of 'me' time :)

No, lol... It had the likes of G4 (of annoyingly squeeky voice), Lesley Garrett, Russell Watson and Sporty Spice doing crap cover versions of songs by the late Freddie Mercury's pop group Queen.

Geez, I'm cringing just thinking about it. Sooooo glad I missed it.

I have to agree Queen Mania was terrible... There again Queen are a hard act to follow... But i thought some of the people that sang in Madonna Mania were quite good... G4 were awful it has to be said... Only half the acts sang live anyway... tut! tut! :nono:
